Our customer had imported the Sandvik CH870 cone crusher. Since entering the factory in 2011, it has been installed in two fine crushing production lines of Φ300 / Φ60 and Φ60 / Φ15. With the gradual improvement of production capacity, the wear and tear of body parts increased, and more and more failures occurred. Due to the nature of the minerals in the process of use, the on-site environment is relatively poor, resulting in lubricating oil, which seriously affects the normal operation and service life of the lubrication system. This results in accelerated wear of the running parts, frequent equipment maintenance, which affects the full performance of the equipment, and brings a significant increase in maintenance costs. Therefore, it is urgent to reform the positive pressure dustproof system.
Cause of system pollution
The main contaminated lubricant is the CH870 fine crusher. It is installed at the end of the 4 # tape. Due to the piston effect of the tape corridor, the dust generated during the crushing process is mainly concentrated in the position of the fine crusher. The dust enters the lubrication system through the gap between the dust cylinder and the dust seal ring. During use, the main shaft runs up and down, which increases the wear of the seal ring, which easily brings dust into the crushing equipment and causes lubricant pollution; the actual dust removal system on the site has poor performance and cannot completely exclude a large amount of dust generated during the crushing process. Some positive pressure dust protection systems have limited working capacity. When the pressure of the dust in the belt corridor exceeds the working pressure of the positive pressure dust protection system, the phenomenon of dust pouring back into the crusher will inevitably occur.
In view of the actual situation at the site, our company carried out technical cooperation to upgrade the positive pressure dustproof system accordingly. The main process involves air compressor → front filter → dryer → back filter → gas storage tank → pressure regulating device → distributor in the crusher.
After technical discussion, it is determined that the modified working method is to dry the compressed air, filter it, remove dust, and filter the oil, then adjust the pressure according to the needs through the pressure regulating device, and then input the special structured dust through the special transmission pipeline. Inside the cylinder, the oil and gas paths inside the equipment are completely isolated. In use, you can adjust the air supply pressure of the positive pressure dustproof system according to the actual situation. The phenomenon of oil splashing and oil blocking caused by excessive pressure in the positive pressure system is completely eliminated. It makes up for the defects of the original imported equipment in the design of the positive pressure dustproof system.

After a large-scale transformation, the problem of serious pollution of lubricating oil has been effectively solved, the number of replacements of the lubricating oil has been reduced, and the replacement cycle has been increased to reduce the cost of equipment lubricant consumption; reduce the consumption of components in the replacement lubrication system (main lubricant pump, Filter elements, oil seals, etc.), reducing the consumption of spare parts of the lubrication system; enabling the lubrication system to work normally, reducing the downtime and the time required to replace the original parts in the lubrication system; Large, reduce downtime when replacement due to wear and tear of spare parts; improve the use efficiency of the equipment, so that the equipment performance is fully exerted.
